Bali Events And Festivals To Await This Month Of May
Bali has been a favorite of many vacationers, local and foreign alike. The island paradise boasts of a natural beauty that can really attract anybody. Its resorts offer different beach activities that are very unique and special. Bali Villas also provide the comfort of home and the services and amenities of luxurious living. Its people are also very warm and hospitable.
However, these are only a part of Bali’s true beauty. More than the kiss of nature, Bali is a place where festivals and events happen all year round. Examples of these include the Bali Arts Festival, Kite Festival, Kartini Day, Negara Bull Races, Independence Day, Melasti, and Nyepi. It also celebrates the Kuningan Ceremony, Galungan, and Pager Wesi.
Bali vacations are also a must since this coming month of May, several Bali festivals will be celebrated. One of these is the National Awakening day. Hari Kebangkitan Nasional is a public holiday in Australia celebrated every 20th of May. It marks the principles of Indonesian state philosophy. This event is hosted by the government offices and Indonesian schools.
There is also the Rice Harvest Festival from May 1st to June 30th. It celebrates the end of the harvest season and is celebrated in various places in Bali. Visitors are welcome to join in the festivities and are even invited to try out the regional cuisines prepared in honor of the rice god, Dewi Sri.
Every May and December each year, the Galungan Ceremony is celebrated. The celebration symbolizes the victory of virtue, Dharma, over evil, Adharma. During the celebrations, Balinese people believe that all Balinese gods descend to earth to celebrate with them.
The Kuningan Ceremony is also celebrated the same time as the Galungan Ceremony. Yellow rice is offered and the temples are beautified. This is to bid farewell to the gods during this ten day event. The celebration also signifies the end of the New Year holiday. Hatha Yoga, traditional dances, and musical performances can be witnessed during this 5 day event held at the grounds of the Bali Purnati Center for Arts in Batuan near Ubud.
The Indonesian Exotic Herbs Festival will also be held in Bali on May 20-27 in the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. It highlights the wide variety of herbs that are often used in traditional medicine in Indonesia.
Buddha’s birthday, which is also called the Hari Raya Waisak or Vesak Day, is celebrated on the day of the first full moon of May. This year, it will be celebrated on May 17.

Celebrating Christmas In A Private Bali Villa
How do you spend a special holiday in a foreign land?
For the first time traveler, it would mean throwing all your cautions to the wind.
Culture, language, tradition, and the local laws will definitely be an issue provided that you prepared and researched all about the place before proceeding. But if not, it’s like driving your car on a busy street blindfolded
Therefore it’s definitely wise for a traveler to browse and research about the place first before planning on a trip. Read about its essentials and be informed.
Christmas is one holiday that everyone does not want to miss so spending it differently requires preparations that are somewhat different also.
But with a Bali trip, preparations would be a little less daunting because finding a place to stay in Bali is easy.
Accommodations are just so teeming with villas that would challenge the imagination but at the same time treat a tourist to an experience that is exotic but still world class.
Christmas in Bali would be different, yes, but spending it in an idyllic villa with an accommodation that reek of five-star class amenities is something different but memorable.
Price-wise, the average tourist can pick a villa that is well fitted to his/her price range or budget.
To save time on scouting however, a tourist can just research on the web and view the villa offerings in certain parts of the island.
With Bali, a Christmas holiday will be different, that’s a promise but exploring the place with it’s sprawling but panoramic beaches is something out of the ordinary.
The crowd is mixed with different nationalities spending their vacation in the island all at the same time. Safety-wise, Bali is guaranteed of police visibility.
As far as family entertainment is concerned, the place’s night scene is so teeming with life. It’s like you were never far away from your place of origin.
So looking forward for that Christmas holiday? Try Bali.

The Perfect Place For the Christmas Holidays
The holidays are just around the corner, and like previous years, people from all over the world are up and about scouting for that perfect spot for that special season. It doesn't really matter who you're with, or whether you're all by your lonesome but what matters the most is that you find that one perfect oasis, a place that will definitely make your holidays more meaningful, and the satisfaction, well...priceless.
For sure, most people from the cold regions would fervently wish for a holiday in the not so stiflingly sun-scorched areas of the globe.
Well, maybe not quite...but a spot that is sunny just the same but splendidly perfect for sand, surf, and sea would do the trick.
Match that with the perfect view of the sunset, and you have a holiday worth remembering for a very long time.
What am I talking about?
Bali, of course.
Bali is just one place that will unquestionably challenge your imagination. The place is real alright but it's one haven that is definitely surreal for first timers but excitingly picturesque still for the regulars.
When you're in Bali, accommodations are just teeming with picture-perfect villas of all shapes and sizez. Therefore, you'll never really miss out on that idyllic accommodation you're looking for.
For starters, you can choose from a wide array of villas spread over the stretch of the island.
What makes the villa packages more attractive is its affordability. You can practically afford yourself the luxury to stay in these splendidly designed villas for a price of your choosing... albeit affordably cheap starting from as low as USD 300 dollars to 1000, the expensive-looking accommodation can be had for a bargain without necessarily sacrificing quality.
Plus you can also check out various Bali Villas websites dedicated to the search needs of scouting tourists. The villas are listed by price and by location. Moreover, the roadmap to these stunningly beautiful abodes are just easy to come by, believe me, scouting tourists.
And since it's the holidays, the family will definitely enjoy every moment as every villa is tailor-made to tantalize the visitors visually as well as excite the other senses.
And reminiscent of the splendor of Bali, villas are also equipped with amenities that kids of all ages will surely enjoy: indoor pools, waterfall settings, and a short walk to the beach. Impressive!
As for planning ahead of schedule, Bali packages and vacation sojourns are available and can be found in your nearest 5-star hotels and its ilk.
Who says you can’t enjoy Christmas without snow?
In Bali, that is a commitment!
