Helpful Tips On Maximizing Your Bali Villa Vacation

What could be better than taking time off work and spending it in a place where the hectic pace of the metropolis is missing? What could be better than having to think of nothing other than getting that tan, basking in the sun, sipping a glass of fresh fruit juice, watching the sunset, and enjoying the night life? These and more can be found in the beautiful island paradise of Bali.

Bali villa trips can be among the best experiences that one can have. While it feels luxurious staying in hotels, the villa vacation guide provides a list of low price villas that give every guest the feeling of being a vacationer staying in a very luxurious villa. However, false moves and wrong choices can be devastating to one’s vacation. So here is a list of advices and tips to maximize that Bali villa vacation.
  1. Vacationers should book their villas as early as 6 months before the scheduled holiday since the best villas easily get fully-booked.
  2. Get everyone’s desires down on paper. It would help make the choosing faster and more effective if the specific wants of vacationers are considered.
  3. Setting priorities will be good. What aspect should be considered first? Is it the budget, size, or the location of the place?
  4. Be reasonable about costs. Prices range because of the type of accommodation people are getting. The bigger the place, the more expensive it is. However, the more people sharing the expenses, the smaller the contribution becomes.
  5. Living away from the city is a beautiful experience. However, staying too far away from the city can be difficult. So when choosing a Bali villa, it should be made sure that it is accessible to everything.
  6. Take advantage of extras in Bali villa services. There are many low-price villas that offer freebies like free housekeeping, driver, chef, and others.
  7. Put everything in writing. Signing contracts when renting a villa can protect not only the owner of the villa but the renter as well.
  8. Do not always opt to go where everyone else goes. It would be worth trying out places that are only emerging since these are priced lower and can still give that same peaceful vacation experience.

Its resorts offer different beach activities that are very unique and special. Bali Villas also provide the comfort of home and the services and amenities of luxurious living. Its people are also very warm and hospitable.

However, these are only a part of Bali’s true beauty. More than the kiss of nature, Bali is a place where festivals and events happen all year round. Examples of these include the Bali Arts Festival, Kite Festival, Kartini Day, Negara Bull Races, Independence Day, Melasti, and Nyepi. It also celebrates the Kuningan Ceremony, Galungan, and Pager Wesi.

Bali vacations are also a must since this coming month of May, several Bali festivals will be celebrated. One of these is the National Awakening day. Hari Kebangkitan Nasional is a public holiday in Australia celebrated every 20th of May. It marks the principles of Indonesian state philosophy. This event is hosted by the government offices and Indonesian schools.

There is also the Rice Harvest Festival from May 1st to June 30th. It celebrates the end of the harvest season and is celebrated in various places in Bali. Visitors are welcome to join in the festivities and are even invited to try out the regional cuisines prepared in honor of the rice god, Dewi Sri.

Every May and December each year, the Galungan Ceremony is celebrated. The celebration symbolizes the victory of virtue, Dharma, over evil, Adharma. During the celebrations, Balinese people believe that all Balinese gods descend to earth to celebrate with them.

The Kuningan Ceremony is also celebrated the same time as the Galungan Ceremony. Yellow rice is offered and the temples are beautified. This is to bid farewell to the gods during this ten day event. The celebration also signifies the end of the New Year holiday. Hatha Yoga, traditional dances, and musical performances can be witnessed during this 5 day event held at the grounds of the Bali Purnati Center for Arts in Batuan near Ubud.

The Indonesian Exotic Herbs Festival will also be held in Bali on May 20-27 in the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. It highlights the wide variety of herbs that are often used in traditional medicine in Indonesia.

Buddha’s birthday, which is also called the Hari Raya Waisak or Vesak Day, is celebrated on the day of the first full moon of May. This year, it will be celebrated on May 17.
